Telemedicine

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, InterMountain Medical Clinic very quickly ramped up to be one of the first clinics in the area to offer telemedicine services.  In addition to in person visits, patients can also schedule telemedicine appointments which is a secure way to connect with your provider via smart phone or computer. If video capabilities aren’t assessible, these visits can be done via telephone.

In cases where it is not possible or safe for a patient to leave their home, services such as prescription refills, annual wellness exams, prenatal appointments, some rechecks, etc., can be done this way.  Most telemedicine appointments can be scheduled as a same-day appointment.  If your provider determines that an in-person visit is required and you are asked to come into the clinic you will not be charged for two visits, just one.  If you would like to set up a telemedicine appointment, call today and our staff will be happy to walk you through the simple process.
